Quilted, warm, functioning button holes, and fitted like a tailored suit. I know, I know; this is exactly what you look for in a winter jacket (one that doesn't feel big, bulky, and look like every other black coat on the street). So, if you're tired of getting lost in the sea of black pea coats this winter, try something new.
I love to wear this jacket like a sport coat. And boy, does it ever fit like one. Throw a slim fitting coat on like this over a v-neck cashmere sweater and a tie and you're ready to hit the bar, or casual Fridays at the office. The functioning button holes are incredibly rare in a coat of this price range, which makes you forget exactly what you're wearing...wait, this isn't Burberry? Let's face it, no one wants to blend into the crowd, so why dress that way?
Rogue Fashion Trends is a local Vancouver brand located in the cobbled-streets of Gastown. If you're reading this, go check out their website, here. They're priced at the $100-200 range, and you get a hell of a lot more than you pay for.
I recently got this Burberry tie as a present from my girlfriend, and it quickly became my favorite tie. Normally I am not one to throw brands around but I've always loved Burberry, and there is nothing tacky about the ever-classy Burberry plaid.
